ABOUT US

LONDON THAMES GATEWAY FORUM
London Thames Gateway Forum (LTGF) emerged in May 2000 to further the work of the Docklands Forum which had been operating since 1974. Our goal is to provide the means and support for the community and voluntary sector to participate in the strategic regeneration and governance of Greater London.  As a resource of the community, we help people of the Thames Gateway to have an effective voice.

Members of the Forum are active in the boroughs of Barking and Dagenham, City of London, Greenwich, Hackney, Havering, Lewisham, Newham, Redbridge, Southwark, Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest, and in Dartford and Thurrock.  Many of our members are involved with other organisations and some operate on a London-wide basis.  The Thames Gateway area stretches 40 miles to the east of East London, following along both sides of the River Thames to the Thames Estuary.

London Councils is committed to fighting for more resources for London and getting the best possible deal for London's 33 councils.
London Thames Gateway Forum is supported by London Councils.
